The terminal
One terminal, two routes on the ticket. Quick is an estimated swap through Jupiter; OPmode is a firm quote from opcode's own pool, on the ten markets that have one.
Quick and OPmode
The terminal shows every market, your portfolio and your activity. The route is chosen at the top of the ticket. Quick supports the listed xStocks and Backpack Securities tokens when a route is available: review the expected output, minimum received, slippage tolerance and fees before signing. OPmode is offered on NVDAx, SPYx, QQQx, GLDx, TSLAx, AAPLx, MSFTx, METAx, COINx and CRCLx, marked OP, where opcode runs its own pool: a firm quote with exact input, output, fee and expiry, signed for your wallet, and no slippage setting because nothing can move. OPmode is priced from the underlying stock or ETF on Pyth and quotes only while a US market session is open, so not at weekends or on exchange holidays. Where a pool is ready, the ticket opens on OPmode.
The ten original xStocks OPmode markets are currently paused. A Backpack market can appear in OPmode after its pool is explicitly configured and funded and its required reference checks pass. Listing a token does not create or activate a pool; current availability is shown in the terminal.
The layout
What each region shows
- 1 · Top bar
- The views: Swap, Pools, Portfolio and Markets. Once you are signed in, your wallet address sits on the right; it opens the wallet dialog, where you can sign out.
- 2 · Markets
- Listed markets with the reference price and the 24-hour change. Filter by All, xStocks or Backpack, or search by ticker, company or issuer. Each entry names its issuer. Markets with an opcode pool carry the OP mark. A market without a verified reference shows no price.
- 3 · Instrument
- The pair, in a market picker with search; the price per share and the 24-hour change; the raw token price, the reference source and the reference time; the price of the share the token tracks, and the token's on-chain price against it where that price is the reference. With OPmode selected, the price per share, raw token price, source and time are those of the Pyth reference the pool quotes from. Reference prices give context; the quote review states the terms of a trade.
- 4 · Chart
- Recorded reference prices over one hour, four hours or a day. Move across it to read a price and time. It shows what opcode actually observed, labels any earlier venue history, and says since when.
- 5 · Instrument details
- A section headed Instrument that opens and closes, with the facts about the token itself: its issuer, mint address, decimals and token program, scaled units per raw token (the multiplier), the result of the mint check, and its extensions.
- 6 · Ticket
- The route, Quick or OPmode, then Buy or Sell, the amount under You pay (a Quick order pays or receives USDC or SOL), and Get quote or Get firm quote. A Quick review shows estimated output, minimum received and the price per share against the share it tracks; a buy of a share both issuers list also prices the other issuer's token. An OPmode review shows the exact output, the price and its distance from the reference, the fee, and an expiry of up to 10 seconds. When OPmode cannot quote, the ticket says why.
- 7 · Status bar
- The connection, a Snapshot button with the time market data was last refreshed, and the underlying market's session with its next verified change. A missing or stale calendar is labelled.
The other views
- Pools
- Configured pools, with issuer filters and search like Swap: the pools on the left; in the middle the chosen pool's holdings, its composition by value, your position and your liquidity activity in that pool; on the right a ticket to Deposit both assets in the current ratio or Withdraw your share. xStocks and Backpack pools are separate, even when they track the same stock. Pools, inventory and skew.
- Portfolio
- Your wallet's balances read from the chain, with the time and slot they were observed at, each holding's value in dollars and the wallet's total, and a Swap button for each stock token. USDC counts at one dollar, SOL at Jupiter's price and a stock token at its reference price. Then Pool positions: your shares in each pool, your ownership, what they redeem for now, their value, and Manage, which opens that pool. Last, Activity: your Quick swaps, OPmode orders and pool deposits and withdrawals, up to the 30 most recent of each, with the type, what you paid, the output, the status and a link to the transaction. An OPmode order or pool transaction that is still waiting for its result must be resolved before another OPmode quote or pool transaction.
- Markets
- Every market with its issuer, reference price, 24-hour change, the token against its share, where its reference comes from, whether its mint is verified, and the OP mark on markets with an opcode pool. The issuer filter and search work here too, and Sort by orders the list by the 24-hour move or by the token's gap to its share. Choosing a market opens it in Swap.
